Country Walks

Visitors can take full advantage of the local scenery by going on one of the country walks, which start and end at The Angel Coaching Inn. Choose from a 4 mile stroll meandering along the River Wylye and through the quaint villages and hamlets of Knook, Corton and Upton Lovell or for the more enthusiastic walker, an extended 8 mile round walk via Sherrington. Both walks are listed as the chosen walk of Wiltshire in the AA Guide’s ’50 Walks to Country Pubs’. Free detailed walking guides are available from the bar.

Horse Riding

The White Horse Trekking Centre is open all year round and offers riding and instruction for individuals and groups from the young novice to the experienced rider. www.whitehorsetrekking.co.uk
